These findings confirm the report had been written about the practice of ritual in the Temple as it is written in kunp Jewish literature.
On objects that resembled the button lettering 'Purity for God', which indicates the object was ever used to ensure the purity of food and animals that will be used for ceremonial offerings.
"This paper shows items listed are used to mark objects brought to the temple, and this is very important to their sacred rituals," said the Israel Antiquities Authority, as quoted by Reuters.
Western Wall is part of the cult complex respected Jews as the Temple. In Islam, this place is described as Al Haram Al Sharif in which the al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock stands.
Israeli authorities say they believe this is the first time. The discovery is considered to provide direct archaeological evidence for ritual activity in the Jewish temple as described in ancient texts.
