Miskin, Kaki Warga Pinrang Dibiarkan Patah 11 Tahun

La Jumain (40), warga Jl Kandea lorong satu kelurahan Penrang, Kabupaten Pinrang, hingga saat ini masih terbaring lemas karena kedua kakinya patah akibat kecelakaan mobil sebelas tahun yang lalu. kini terancam infeksi bila tidak segera diamputasi.

Kabarnya La Jumain tak berobat, dikarenakan tak memiliki biaya. Ayah lima orang anak ini tak mampu berbuat banyak. Jangankan mendapatkan biaya untuk operasi amputasinya, biaya hidup keluarga sehari-hari dan ganti keteter sebesar Rp 100 ribu, hanya mengandalkan penghasilan istrinya yang menjahit. "Semoga ada yang bisa membantu kami pak. Kami ini masyarakat tak mampu," kata istri Jumain.

Usaha pengobatan yang dilakukannya hanya sampai pada tingkat Puskemas. Sementara untuk mendapatkan operasi amputasi dan perawatan gratis, tak didapatkannya karena tidak memiliki kartu Askeskin.

Kepala kelurahan Penrang, kecamatan Watang Sawitto, A Ikbal B Tanri yang dikonfirmasi terkait hal tersebut membenarkan adanya warganya yang berkategori miskin dan tidak memiliki kartu Askeskin.

Masuk Penjara, Koruptor Menangis di Depan LP

Seorang terpidana dengan vonis 1,5 tahun penjara akibat kasus korupsi pengadaan tanaman pangan dan bibit holtikultura di Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan tak kuasa menahan tangis saat digelandang ke Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Bone untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya.

Andi Sirajuddin yang hingga kini menjabat sebagai Kepala Bidang (Kabid) Tanaman dan Pangan Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Bone ini divonis bersalah atas dugaan kasus korupsi pada tahun 2008 dan diproses atas laporan sebuah Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat dan digulir sejak 2011.

Saat pelaku akan memasuki pintu 'hotel prodeo', Andi Sirajuddin tak kuasa menahan tangis. Sementara itu kuasa hukum pelaku menyatakan bahwa kliennya belum tentu bersalah dalam kasus korupsi. "Klien saya belum tentu bersalah memang sudah divonis oleh hakim tapi saya masih banding," ujar Arham di depan pintu LP.

Sementara itu pihak kejaksaan menilai vonis hakim ini lebih rendah dari tuntutan jaksa penuntut umum yang menuntut pelaku 2,5 tahun penjara. "Ini kan lebih rendah dari tuntutan saya. Kalau kerugian negara mencapai Rp 400 juta lebih," ujar Awaluddin, Jaksa Penuntut Umum.

Performa Mesin Mobil Esemka Selesai Diperbaiki

Performa mesin mobil Esemka yang sebelumnya dinyatakan tidak lolos saat uji emisi kembali disempurnakan oleh siswa SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat.

"Mesin mobil yang kami rakit dan tidak dinyatakan tidak lolos saat uji emisi awal Maret lalu, saat ini sudah dibongkar lagi untuk mengetahui kekurangannya," kata Kepala SMKN 1 Kota Bekasi, I Made Supriatna, di Bekasi, Selasa (3/4/2012).

Pada uji emisi yang digelar 1 Maret 2012 di Balai Termodinamika Motor dan Propulsi Serpong memperlihatkan kandungan karbon monoksida sebesar 11,63 gram per kilometer dan HC+NOx sebesar 2,69 gram per kilometer.

Padahal, standarnya kandungan karbon monoksida hanya 5 gram per kilometer, HC+NOx 0,70 gram per kilometer, sehingga mobil Esemka dinyatakan melebihi ambang batas dan karenanya tidak lolos uji emisi.

Kekurangan mesin yang mengakibatkan kegagalan pada uji emisi itu telah diperbaiki murid-murid SMKN 1 Kota Bekasi. Uji emisi berikutnya diyakini sanggup dilewati mobil Esemka dengan lancar.

"Perbaikan dilakukan pada komponen exhaust mesin yang dipasang untuk mengurangi gas buang karbon monoksida," kata Made.

Menurut dia, dari 200 unit mesin Esemka yang dirakit siswanya untuk memasok kebutuhan mobil Esemka, hanya 30 persen yang memerlukan perbaikan.

"Sebanyak 25 unit mesin rampung diperbaiki dan sudah dikirim ke Solo. Sementara sisanya masih dalam pengerjaan," ujarnya.

Penyempurnaan pada mesin Esemka dilakukan agar sanggup lolos pada uji emisi. Sebab, berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 04 Tahun 2009 tentang Ambang Batas Emisi Gas Buang untuk Kendaraan Bermotor Tipe Baru, kendaraan baru wajib memenuhi ambang batas sebelum mendapat izin operasi di jalan raya.

"Kami akan berupaya semaksimal mungkin agar kendaraan Esemka bisa tampil di jalan raya," demikian Made.
