Jakarta, world population growth rate made history by passing a new number 7 billion, precisely on October 31, 2011. Symbolically, a Filipino babies are born on the date it was named the baby to-7 billion.

Baby girl named Danica May Camacho is the world's first baby born on that date. He is considered to represent the birth of the world population to 7 billion, as well as a warning that the earth is getting crowded.

Because it is only symbolic, each country may also choose a baby to version 7 billion each. Indonesia even choose two babies as the population of the 7 billion, which is a baby boy from Situbondo, Ahmad Saptaji Adibuwono and baby daughter from Padang, Saptarina Heriaty Andipertiwi.

Both babies from Indonesia who also was born on October 31, 2011 was selected by the Agency for Population and Family Planning (BKKBN) is based on a specific calculation method that is supposed to represent the birth of the baby to-7 billion. Giving a name made by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, although its implementation is only represented by the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Agung Laksono.

Warning birth of the baby to-7 billion world population implies that the more full and will be more crowded if its growth is not controlled. United Nations (UN) estimates, by 2100 the world population would have exceeded 15 billion.

Estimates were not unfounded, because in the last 13 years have recorded population growth has occurred as many as 1 billion. Though a few centuries ago, the growth of as much as 1 billion can only be achieved within 130 years.

In particular, Indonesia became the largest contributor to population growth-5 after India, China, Nigeria and Pakistan. But with the population growth rate so's a big, Indonesia is expected to rival China in the coming years.

Indonesia's current population growth rate is indeed worrying, because it still reached 1.49 percent or 4-5 million / year. If not controlled, an estimated population of Indonesia will reach 1 billion in less than 100 years to come.

But if the family planning program runs without any rejection or other complications, Indonesia estimated population growth rate can be reduced to 1.1 percent in 2015. In 2020, if the program continues to receive support family planning, population growth rate could be below 1 percent.
